Shield Rmsc Glock 48 - More news in the world of pistol optics as Shield Sights brings a new glass RMSc version to the game. Following the notable success of Holosun's 507K and 407K red dots and the release of Trijicon's highly anticipated RMRcc, Shield is updating their OG slim frame pistol look. Given the explosion in popularity of optic-ready slim pistols like SIG Sauer's P365 and P365XL, Glock's 43X and 48 MOS versions, and the Springfield Hellcat, there seems clear demand in the market for similar pistols as well as designed mini-optics. It suits them. Optic-ready pistols from manufacturers such as SIG Sauer, Springfield, Walther, Canik, and Glock have adopted the standardized footprint of the Shield range, and many other optic brands (with Trijicon being a notable exception) have followed suit.
The Glock version is made for the RMSc G43 and G48 MOS pistols, but is compatible with others using the same footprint.

UK-based Shield Sights responded early to the demand for slim red dots, first releasing a scaled-down version of their previous full-size pistol optic around the SHOT Show 2018 deadline. At the time, most pistols still had to slide. Optics are made to accept, whereas many guns now have factory-selected or factory-standard red dots. The original RMSc (Reflex Mini Sight Compact) came standard with a clear plastic window and only offered a mirror option.
