Shadow Systems Vs Glock 19 - Took MR920 and put DPP on it. Took it to the range and ran it through timed draw and rapid fire drills and they were very similar in performance. The MR920 may have a slight smell, but my testing was sound inside.
Frankly, a little disappointed with the MR920 and once again surprised at what a capable gun the Glock is.
Shadow Systems Vs Glock 19

As an MR918 owner, compared to my other Glocks, it's nothing short of earth-shattering. MR guns are great, but your experience shows that there is a big difference between static and active environments.

I mean, the MR series pistols are better in static than the factory Glock. When it's time to go to work, better ergos don't always equate to better performance, or at least dramatic improvement.
I like the 918, but it doesn't do any better or worse than my other Glocks.

For me, using the Gila Hayes 5 in 5 drill, I was about .3-5 seconds faster with the MR918s than the Gen 4 Front Serration 19s. When I shot both rifles for accuracy—no matter the velocity—the MR918 was more accurate in my hands. Both my wife and girlfriend have shot these guns and found them to be true.
When I shot different fire directions, my scores were slightly higher with the MR918 and the groups were slightly better.
Tfb Review: Shadow Systems Mr920
This is all a few months of shooting, and I've been shooting the Glock 19 since about 2005 - give me another 6-12 months with the MR918, and I expect even bigger differences.

Different shooters have differences. For me, I have had no issues with speed or accuracy with my 918 or Gen5 Glocks. There is no measurable difference between them. I'm comparing them to Gen5 guns, not 4th gen.
I can say the same for working with Glocks. To me, the difference is not the toes. When running at speed, the toe bumps interfere with my grip. I'm more accurate at bump speed and I'm also a bit faster if I'm timing. Toe bumps don't look as natural as a flat front strap. It's easily the same as slowing down time.

I'm not knocking the MR pistols, I think they are great value for money. The guys there are awesome and they're made in Texas, what's not to like.

If what I'm hearing about the next generation of Glocks is true, this will close the gap even further.
I see what you're saying, I haven't shot any Gen 5 19s, my experience with Gen 5 Glocks is shooting my friends Gen 5 26s. Even if I don't like the 26-year-old, he has a bump.
At this point I have two MR918s left (sold the third one a month ago) and really can't see going back to the Glock 19 - unless something miraculous happens...these two pistols should see me through until I slide it into the oven!

Best Of Both Worlds…edc And Comp 9mm Gun Combined?
If I'm not in another 918, I'll be forced to get the dreaded 920. :nail biting:

Watched your video again and noticed the same thing I noticed the first time. This isn't a stock Glock 19 you're shooting.
Reviews & Ratings For Shadow Systems Glock 19 Gen 1 5 Match Barrel
Suarez looks skid and barrel in it. The actual test you did was between the MR918 and the customized Gen 5 Glock 19. As I posted before, I haven't shot a Gen 5 Glock 19 (I have 30+ 19s, Gen 2s, 3s and 4s) ) but I think the Suarez slide and barrel give a slight performance advantage . (I've read a bit about his slides and barrels, and from what I've read from people who use them, they're fine!)
Then again, I love the Glock 19, so anyone who thinks I'm not a gun fan would be sorely mistaken. I'll have to rent the 19 and put one of its paces on when this Chi Cam flu is over...it should be an uncut front but I'd love to shoot it.
Regarding the Suarez slide and barrel - I'm wondering if I should get a frame for a Glock 26 or a Poly 80 26.
Any MR920 or MR918? Is the grip angle the same as the Glock 19? Explain back strap options. How accurate are pistols at 25 yards? I saw it for sale today. I was considering it but it wasn't a Glock. Are these aftermarket mag pole mags any good? Do they need a break? A gun? thank you
Shadow Systems: Mr920
They are legal. Grip modules differ in that they slightly change the angle of the hole axis with each module. For example, a 1911 or a traditional Glockish. I carried a Glock 19 off duty for 15 years and sold it last year when I sent it to Wilson Combat for some work and got an MR918. If you're looking for a complete Glock19ish gun out of the box, you can't beat them for the price. I bought two. One for carrying and one for training.
I currently have two Shadow Systems MR918s (had a third but sold it about a month ago). The MR918 replaced my Glock 19s and I'm a big Glock 19 fan - have owned 30+ 19s since 2005 (2s, 3s and 4s). Someone in another thread asked me "Is the Shadow worth it and why do you think it is? How does it beat the Glock?"
Is it good? It depends on the shooter and what he likes or wants. For me, again for me. I have owned 30+ Glock 19s since 2005 and EDCed one.
1. Fits me better than any 19 I've owned or shot (except Bowie Tactical Grip Reduction and Robar 19 Grip Reduction). Adjustable Rear – Rear camber is a great feature. Handle drawing/texturing
